Personality Traits: Fun loving, easy-going, mischievous. He was afraid at first, but by the end of the war of the ring, he found his courage.
Interesting Characteristics: He was the only hobbit of the four that set out from the shire, that had not yet reached his "coming of age." His best friend Meriodoc Brandybuck (also a member of the fellowship) was in fact his cousin.
Spouse: After the war of the ring, he married Diamond of Long Cleeve.
